We're going to start from the very beginning and show you how to get images like these... bear with me for awhile. In the meantime let's take a close look at why stacking changes the game with buyers and clients. Why? Because they are seeing something they've never imagined... let alone seen.
This is the image that took me down the road to "stacking". This is an amazing subject... but too much of it was out of focus and no cure.
This is the reward at the end of my exploration of stacking and having everything in perfect focus. It earned me a cover. Possibly two.
My frustration led me down the path to stacking and a brilliant group of programmers in Ukraine. The first thing I had to do was to get a fire breather of a tower to speed up their A.I. program or even make it work. I've been involved with beta releases from the beginning so I saw the beast struggle to full fuctionality. But be prepared to pull your hair out. This process is not a sausage machine and requires three dense programs to maximize the result. And if you start out with Lightroom, you'll end up back there for last minute touch ups. Make sure you don't try to send a dense TIFF file back to Lightroom or you'll freeze it. Work through this process in jpeg and then convert it back to RBG Unless you're already set up... plan on spending a few thousand to get in this game.
Have fun. If you get stuck. I might have the answer. Send me an email.
